Manor Marine UK Ltd has appointed Leif Cooper as Managing Director, following several years as Operations Director within the company.
After securing multiple vessel builds in 2021 / 22, Manor Marine, the shipbuilding and engineering arm of the Manor Group, is pleased to welcome Clive Thomas to the team as ‘Commercial Planning Manager’.
Jenkins Marine has commissioned Manor Marine to manufacture and install two new wheelhouse and accommodation modules for the Split Hopper Barges, ‘Nab’ and ‘Needles’.
Manor Marine is pleased to announce that Manor Renewable Energy’s (MRE) newest vessel, the ‘Manor Endurance’, has set sail for her first charter on the UK’s East Coast following a year-long build and successful sea trials in Portland, Dorset.

Following extensive refurbishment works at our facility in Portland, Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) is pleased to announce the launch of the Manor Enterprise earlier this month; she has since been supporting MRE’s project scope on the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm.
MRE’s newest vessel currently under construction, the Manor Endurance (due to be delivered in July 2020) was originally designed to transport 24 passengers; however, in order to meet the new social distancing requirements currently in place, the design has been amended.
Manor Renewable Energy’s flagship vessel, the Manor Venture, returned to our Portland site in March for the first time since July 2018, after 20 months and the successful completion of 4 temporary power projects.
Manor Marine is currently refurbishing, lengthening & re-engining the Manor Enterprise (previously MPI Cardenio), following the successful refit of her sister vessel, the Manor Initiative.
Manor Renewable Energy’s (MRE) new crew transfer vessel, the Manor Initiative (formerly the MPI Cervantes), is currently undergoing sea trials at Manor Marine.
Jenkins Marine has contracted Manor Marine to provide slipway, repair and maintenance services for the Split Hopper Barge, ‘Nab’.
Following the success of the 2018 event, Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) and Manor Marine (MM) are pleased to announce that they are once again exhibiting at Seawork this year.
