Manor Marine has secured its first order from Southampton based pontoon specialist Intermarine Ltd to manufacture a 13-metre steel tubular pontoon.

Construction of the pontoon commenced in April 2022; upon completion the pontoon was installed at Brownsea Island in Poole for John Lewis Partnership where it will serve as access for visitors travelling to Brownsea Castle.

Leif Cooper, Managing Director at Manor Marine said, “We’re extremely pleased to have provided fabrication services to Intermarine Ltd for their Brownsea Island pontoon project. We have built many steel pontoons over the years but this was our first with Intermarine Ltd and it has been great to be assisting with a Dorset based Project”.

The new pontoon was successfully delivered in May 2022.
